Non-stop service from Joplin to Dallas/Forth Worth International Airport is also offered through Mesa’s subsidiary, Air Midwest and will operate as Mesa Airlines. If your travel takes you further than either of the these cities, both locations provide the connections needed for the leisure and business traveler. When flying from the Joplin Regional Airport, enjoy the fact that there are no long drives or overnight stays required, saving you precious time an money. Parking is free and our lot is a short walk to the terminal and gate area. No need to arrive two hours early to clear security, one hour prior flight time will be fine. We provide a convenient, hassle-free environment to your flying experience. Rental cars are also available through Avis and Hertz. Exciting changes are on the horizon for the airport; the existing 50-year-old terminal facility will be replaced with a new up-to-date structure that will help to meet the need for commercial aviation in this community for the future. Modern conveniences will be included such as boarding bridges, upgraded security procedures and additional upgrades to meet changing ADA accessibility requirements. The terminal is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2008. |
