Ruby Jack Trail
The Ruby Jack Trail is one of the Joplin Trails Coalition’s projects and runs for 16 miles between
Carthage, Missouri, and the Kansas state line, linking the towns of Carthage, Oronogo and Carl Junction.
The Ruby Jack Trail is known as a “Rails To Trails” project, meaning they are former railroads that have
been converted to multi-use trails. The trails are created and maintained via the hard work of several
volunteers and generous donations from individuals and businesses throughout the community.
